The Lemp Mansion at night
The Lemp Mansion at night

Ok, this concludes our trip to the Lemp Mansion. This photo was taken outside of the Mansion at around 10:30 pm. I was trying to see if we could capture the same “orbs” that Roshini got in her photos from about this location at night last year. No such luck this time. But you can take a look at her photo here.
I hope you decide to check out this interesting place next time you want to go ghost hunting!

Did you ever wonder what stood on the St. Louis Arch grounds before the Arch was built? Well, this is a picture of the original location of the Lemp Brewery which stood there. Around 1900, they outgrew this location and moved the brewery to its current location to the south.

Spirit Energy in the Cellar
I think this is a cool shot down the spiral staircase from the main floor to the cellar. If you enlarge the photo, you can see another “orb” in the cellar.

Old Cave Entrance
In the early days of the Lemp Brewery, the beer was stored in a network of natural caves below the Lemp Mansion and the Lemp brewing complex nearby. They also used to hold large parties in the caves. This photo shows the entrance to the cave system below the mansion. This entrance is now closed off and is located in the cellar.
William J. Lemp is probably rolling over in his grave because the beer being sold in this bar is that of his arch rival company Anheuser-Busch which is located right across the highway from the Lemp brewery location. (A-B is also my current employer.)

The Lemp Mansion Cellar
Mystery Dinner Theater productions are held in the cellar of the Lemp Mansion form time to time. This is the location of these productions.
Note the large Falstaff-like logo built into the floor. The Lemp Brewery was the original producer of the Falstaff brand. They sold it during Billy Lemp’s time in charge.

Charles Lemp’s original bedroom
Charles Lemp’s original bedroom
This is the original bedroom occupied by Charles Lemp before moving downstairs to where the bar is located now.
Every time David would even pass near this room at night, the hair on his arms stood up and he got goose bumps.
Many people have reported seeing and sensing Charles Lemp in and around this room over the years.

Luxury, 1900s style!
Take a look at the luxurious main bathroom! Everything is covered in marble or granite and the fireplace still works.
A lot of people have reported seeing various spirits here over the years.

Spiritual Energy in the Foyer
Spiritual energy in the foyer.
Here’s David hanging out in the entry foyer. Little did he know when I took the shot that there was spirit energy all around his feet. Check out the “orbs” in the photo by clicking to see a larger view.
