Lillian

This is a painting of the Lavender Lady, Lillian Lemp. It is said that she is called that because she only wore lavender and owned over 300 lavender gowns.

Lillian was the first wife of Billy Lemp, one of the three Lemp family members to commit suicide in this house A fourth family member committed suicide elsewhere.

This painting hangs in the room that was Billy Lemp’s office when he ran the Lemp Brewery. It’s also the same room in which he shot and killed himself.
